An "up" Dandenong to Flinders St. "Comeng" approaches Malvern, on the "up through line" August 1987. The track from Sth Yarra to Caulfield was 4 tracks with closely spaced upper quadrant semaphore signals. The semaphores were replaced with light signals on this track in the early 90's.
